having made to date more than 50.000 Pregnancy Interruptions,
of them 7.000 social ones (it is to say made of shared in
common, gratuitous or semigratuitous)
New facilities
From year 2002 we do in our new facilities of València,
situated in Salvador Guinot nº 14, occupying more than
1500 m2. They are designed specially for the application of
techniques of Cirugia Mayor Ambulatoria (CMA),
being credited by the Conselleria de Sanitat of the Generalitat
Valenciana, for the accomplishment of gynaecological surgery,
with a special accreditation for stop and under risk abortions,
up to 23/25 gestation weeks. These new facilities are taken
care of by an equipment of more than 20 sanitary professionals
with ample experience.

In addition to the campaigns that can we see in the images
of above, it is possible to emphasize the Tubárica
Sterilization by
Minilaparotomía Campaign with local anesthesia in the
Hospital de la Trinidad (Estelí, Nicaragua, 1993).
Investigation and Publications
Mediterranea Medica, directs and finances an ample investigations
in gineco-obstetrics program with Misoprostol and other drugs,
in the Hospital Eusebio Hernandez (Working Maternity)
of Havana, Cuba, from 1.995. This research program
has generated to date 24 tests clinical, with near 6.000 patients,
who have given rise to 21 scientific publications (to see
Publications).
The good results obtained in these investigations have motivated
that we are consulted by the Research program in Human Reproduction
which they develop the World Bank, Population Bottom of United
Nations (UNDP/UNFPA) and the Health World-wide Organization
(the WHO) having acted of temporary advisors of this
program.
Mediterranea Medica also sponsors from 1.995 a molecule investigation
project with anticancerous activity in the National
Institute of Oncología and Radiobiología of
Havana, Cuba. Having itself made more 200 clinical
tests, with a 4.500 experimentation animals:
mice, rabbits, dogs and monkeys. At the present time it is
developed already, a clinical test PHASE 2 in humans.
